As a fast-growing energy company, we are always looking for new ways to provide our customers with more for their tariff. Our most recent venture is a partnership with boiler and home cover provider, Hometree, to allow our customers to invest in a bundle that offers excellent value for money. We are thrilled to now be able to provide our members with additional services, and as Hometree has a shared commitment to a personalised, customer-focused experience, we believe that this will be a fantastic addition to our company!

Helping Our Customers To Keep Their Home Safe

From EV charging units to smart batteries, our ongoing development provides our customers with more comprehensive solutions all under one company. And now, with the additional partnership with Hometree, we can not only offer customers affordable energy tariffs but also cover to protect their home against unexpected problems.

Who Are Hometree?

With a range of cover options available, Hometree is dedicated to ensuring that homeowners have complete peace of mind that their home will continue to run as it should. They provide packages that cover everything from your central heating system only, all the way through to every system in your home, allowing customers to find an option that best fits their requirements. Much like Ampower, Hometree believes that customers should be able to take advantage of cheaper but higher-quality plans without compromising on an outstanding level of customer service.

When taking out cover with Hometree, you will always have the reassurance that in an emergency, there will be an engineer available to rectify the issue. To date, they have over 2,500 engineers covering a nationwide basis and have maintained an impressive statistic of 90% of customer problems are fixed within 24 hours. They also have a 24-hour support line and, just like our team, a fantastic customer service line which, in 90% of cases, is answered within just one minute.

Mentioned above are just a handful of the many reasons why we are thrilled to be partnered with Hometree and can now work with them to offer extra cover to our customers. If you are an existing customer of Ampower and would like to add a cover package to your tariff, please do not hesitate to contact our team to make further arrangements. Alternatively, for new customers, you can head over to our dedicated Hometree page, where you will find a ‘Get A Quote’ section. All you will need to do is submit your postcode, and we will calculate how much your tariff will be.

What Does Our Partnership Mean?

Through our partnership with Hometree, we are now able to provide our customers with an energy and service bundle. This means that you will have one tariff that will include not only your electricity and gas but also the home cover of your choice. The home cover plans that are available are the following:

  • Boiler Cover - Our standard cover plan will be the boiler cover, which will ensure that your central heating system remains in full working order and the likelihood of a breakdown is minimised. Included in this package will be your annual boiler service, along with checks of the flue and controls. For landlords, this will also come alongside the Landlord Gas Safety Record (LGSR), helping you to remain in line with regulations.
  • Home Cover - If you are looking for more than just a boiler cover, then we would recommend our complete home cover. As well as your annual boiler services, this will cover your plumbing, drains and electrics, all of which will be both checked and maintained. Again, as a landlord, this cover will ensure that you are provided with your LGSR.

What Are The Benefits Of Our New Bundles?

If you are interested in one of our energy and service bundles but want to know more before joining a contract, then our team are always more than happy to run through different options. However, in the meantime, we have put together just some of the many benefits that you can enjoy with our new bundles!

Prevent Unexpected Breakdowns

Whether it may be your boiler or plumbing, there is nothing worse than an issue arising that you had not anticipated or prepared for. Not only is it inconvenient, but it can also prove costly if the problem results in extensive repairs or even replacement. Through ensuring that you have cover in place, on the other hand, you can have the peace of mind that any potential issues can be detected before they have the chance to escalate. Spotting problems while they are small means that, in most cases, they can be rectified quickly during your engineer’s visit without having to schedule a later date. The only time that you may need to wait is if particular parts need to be sourced in order to make the repair.

Save Time & Money

We all strive to save money where possible, and while with our tariff, you will be paying a fee, it will be far more cost-effective than if you were to leave your home without cover. Regularly servicing means that you can keep on top of the reliability and functionality of your systems. In return, not only will you extend the lifespan of your boiler, plumbing or any other system, but you will also understand how they can be made more efficient. From here, you will be able to make small lifestyle changes in order to limit your wasted energy and, therefore, reduce your bills.

Along with saving money, our bundles can also save you a considerable amount of time. Any checks on your systems will be scheduled in advance for a date and time that suits your schedule, allowing you to work your day around this. Not only this, but as any problems can be fixed before they have the chance to grow, you will not have to deal with the hassle of finding that your system is broken, trying to find an engineer and waiting around for them to arrive. However, if you do experience a breakdown, you will have the peace of mind that a Hometree engineer will be with you in less than 24 hours.

Make Your Home More Eco-Friendly

At Ampower, we are on a mission to help customers make their home more environmentally friendly through affordable renewable energy. Our bundles are designed to further improve their efficiency by ensuring that their systems are not wasting any valuable energy. If your engineer does spot any areas that can be improved, they will advise you on any updates you should make to your systems, along with lifestyle changes that you and your family can make. For example, if you have an outdated boiler that always seems to be experiencing problems, you may be spending more on repairs over the course of the years than you would if you were to book a replacement. Not only this, but you are also likely to notice that your energy bills are always increasing because the boiler is not operating effectively. By taking on the recommendation of your engineer, you can reduce bills, improve efficiency and, in return, reduce your carbon footprint.

If you are looking for more ways to make your home and lifestyle more environmentally friendly, then we suggest taking a look at our guide on how to save the planet in 2021. This features tons of great ideas on how to make positive changes around the house, while you travel, in day-to-day life and on a longer-term basis.
